Prioritizing
Prioritizing is an ever-changing and ongoing task in my daily routine. I don’t like clutter anywhere. My house and my desk are usually well put together and ready for the occasional unexpected guest. Just don’t open a draw or cabinet. I am reasonably skilled at organizing. Where I fall short in maintaining the organization that I have set in place, sometimes its a week, month, or even a year, but eventually, I find myself organizing again. Exercise
I have often wondered if exercise is a kink for me. I have a love/hate relationship with it, just as I do some of my kinks so maybe it is safe to say that exercise is also a kink. I have always been active without going to the gym or scheduling a workout. I danced for eight years; tap, ballet, and jazz. I then moved on to karate for 6 years and reached my brown belt level, testing for my green belt when I was eight months pregnant. I played basketball in high school and did gymnastics as well. Lust isn’t always about sex! Shocking I know, but it is true. We lust after food, a good movie, comfy pants, or no pants at all. We lust after a time when we were younger, thinner, more active. Times when life was easier. We can lust over just about anything! Lust, as it relates to sex, becomes more complicated. Or does it? Day 13 – Black and White
I often hear the phrase, “it is black and white.” Typically this means that whatever the subject up for discussion is clear. There is no misunderstanding and it is exactly what it appears to be. That’s lovely to think there is such a thing but I call bullshit. Black and white as never been clear to me. I can always find the greys and shadows and light.
